Summary of the College Bound 89s & United

RFC 89 and RFC United represent the two teams with the most successful college placement programs in the history of Annandale RFC. And, it is still very early in the college placement and scholarship process.

When asked about the successes of these two RFC teams, Annandale RFC Director Todd Hitt was quoted as saying, “The college placement success of RFC United and RFC 89 to date is unprecedented. Over the years we have had great success placing RFC players in major college programs. However, never before have we had such widespread interest in such a cross section of young men and women for one age group and never with such diversity among major college programs. Not just major soccer powers, but universities that are unparalleled in academic prominence as well.”
